Who We Are

eShipfinance.com brings together a team of highly experienced shipping, finance, and technology experts whose mission is to disrupt and improve the way traditional ship acquisitions are financed. The platform offers fixed term and fixed rate returns both for borrowers and investors. For the roadmap 2020, we are actively working towards building more innovative funding models to potential borrowers and investors alike.

Dagfinn Lunde

Chairman
Dagfinn the co-founder and Chairman of Ship Finance Global encompassing eShipfinance.com. With over 40 years of experience in both banking and the maritime industry, he is a regular speaker at Maritime Conferences. 
 
Dagfinn holds a number of board positions including the Vice Chairman and Board member in Dynamic Drilling Holding Pte Ltd and Vision Drilling Ltd.  He is a Board member of Maxi Shipping and holds several other Senior Advisory roles.  Prior to that, he spent a number of years in a variety of roles, including Board of Managing Directors and Head of Shipping  & Offshore, DVB Bank SE, Rotterdam and Frankfurt. Managing Director in DNB New York and INTERTANKO.
Previous roles in DNC in Amsterdam, Luxembourg and Oslo, after being CFO of the Klaveness group from 1976 to 1981.

Dagfinn graduated from Stanford University with a Masters in Management and is a member of the Institute of International Bankers (IIB), the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) and the American Scandinavian Foundation.

Murali Ramaswami

Chief Digital Officer
Murali is the Global Head, Operations and Delivery for eshipfinance.com. He has worked in several Delivery focused roles across Banking, Energy, Shipping and Consulting over the last 25 years.
 
He has been a ship’s navigator in the past, before transitioning to Supply Chain and logistics, where he was the Information Services Manager for TNT Australia. He then moved to the Commonwealth Bank, where he was Head of Delivery across core Bank businesses. He has also served as the Integrity Program Leader for the APA Group Limited, and the Regional Head, Projects for DNV GL. He brings a wealth of experience across diverse business and technical domains, as well as significant exposure to cutting edge technologies, and formulation of business and technology strategy.
 
He has earned an MBA from the Graduate School of Management, Macquarie University, Sydney in addition to several professional credentials.

Tarun Gulati

Chief Executive Officer
Tarun is the co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of SFG responsible for setting the strategic direction of eShipfinance.com, as well as overseeing the day to day management of the company.
 
Tarun has an extensive career in both Maritime and Finance spanning a total of 30 years. He started his career at sea as a deck cadet. After qualifying as a Master Mariner, Tarun was promoted to Captain at the age of 27 years.  Since leaving the seas, Tarun has worked in Technical Management, Crew Management, Insurance in Mumbai and then as a Commercial Manager for a trading company in London, ascending to role of Vice President at the Research and Strategy department of DVB Bank SE in 2006, In 2012, was transferred to the Restructuring Team as Senior Vice President dealing with the most challenging restructuring and recovery cases.
 
Besides, professional qualifications as a Mariner, Tarun has a Masters Degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance from London’s Cass Business School, City University.

Carsten Peitzsch

Chief Technology Officer
Carsten has over 40 years’ experience in Information Technology mainly in areas of shipping, logistics and supply chain management. During his career, Carsten has held a number of senior ICT positions in blue chip companies, with responsibility in areas of Solutions Architecture, Application Development and Program Delivery.

He has been Director/Principal of several companies in major shipping companies such as EAC, Maersk, P&O Containers, P&O Nedlloyd and WWL.   During this period, he has architected state of the art solutions which have generated outstanding business value for his clients. Most of his deliveries have been first of breed solutions.
​

He qualified in computing in 1979 from EDB-Skolen, Copenhagen.

Marina Tzoutzouraki

Chief Financial Officer
Marina Tzoutzouraki, co-founder is entrusted as the Chief Financial Officer .  She is accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the company.  In addition, Marina oversees the credit risks assessments and controls over all projects and global asset deals.
 
Marina has over 30 years experience in the banking and ship finance industry.  Prior to joining SFG, Marina held a variety of senior positions at Bank Franco Hellenique and Euro Bank in Greece, in ship finance managing over 500b USD in Loans and over 3b USD in Deposits for shipping clients including restructuring, refinancing and work outs.
 
Marina is a graduate of city university ,London with a degree in Shipping Trade and Finance

Aparna Gulati

Chief Marketing Officer
Aparna leads the Sales/Marketing initiatives and corporate communications.

A Sales & Marketing professional, Aparna has previously worked with Xerox Corporation Mumbai India, Morplan London UK Ltd, ICICI Bank London UK Ltd. & Human Learning London UK Ltd. 

Aparna has a Masters in Business Management, specializing in Marketing, from CRK Institute of Management, Mumbai.
